Shopping at wholesale giant Costco is about to get a whole lot easier for some.
The shopping center famous for its large sizes is partnering with Shipt, a food delivery service, to bring Costco products directly to the homes in the Tampa, Florida area, with plans to expand to other markets, USA Today reported.
“Everyone’s looking to save time and get more out of less time. With Shipt in particular, people love the service and the quality of the experience,” Shipt CEO Bill Smith told USA Today.
“If you order ice cream from us, we’ll deliver it directly to you,” he said.
The current plan has Costco delivery expanding to 50 markets by the end of 2017.
Online shopping for groceries is becoming increasingly popular with stores like ShopRite, Amazon Fresh, WeDeliverGroceries.com, Fresh Direct and Google Express all getting in the game.
Shipt, who charges an annual fee of $99, already delivers for Whole Foods and Meijer in some markets.
Stacy Miletti of Troy, Mich., said she has been using Shipt for about a year and spends around $90 every two weeks on groceries from Meijer.

“The big motivation for me is it saves time. … I can log in at 2 or 3 in the morning and do the shopping when it works for me,” she said. “I love it, but it’s not perfect. The only thing I don’t like about it is you have to be home when it’s delivered.”
