Proving yet again that the Trump family is fair game in a way the left would never have dreamed of with the Obama family, NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” did a mock ad undermining Ivanka Trump‘s so-called feminist image.
…as if being a feminist in the post-Obama era is something to tout.
Actress Scarlett Johansson plays Ivanka in an ad parody about a new perfume called “Complicit.”
“She’s beautiful. She’s powerful. She’s… Complicit,” the faux ad states. “She’s a woman who knows what she wants. And knows what she’s doing. Complicit.”
“A feminist, an advocate, a champion for women,” the spot continues. “But, like, how?”
“She’s loyal. Devoted, but probably should’ve bounced after that whole ‘Access Hollywood’ bus thing,” the voice-over says.
“Complicit,” the ad parody concludes. “The fragrance for the woman who can stop all this… but won’t.”
SNL uses Scarlett Johansson and a pro-Trump
pug to mock LIBS in rare gem of a HILARIOUS spoof
Odd how the creative forces behind SNL are too cowardly to mock Michelle Obama or the Obamas’ daughters, fearful of a vicious backlash from a protective media, but they are somehow convinced that attacking the Trump family will bear no ill will the same forces.
It’s almost as if the media is… “Complicit.”
For the record, Ivanka Trump’s two signature issues are six weeks of paid maternity leave and affordable child care, along with women’s health, but let’s not distract SNL from its mission to denigrate the Trump presidency.
