Malik Obama thrusts himself back in the spotlight and posts ‘controversial’ info about his brother

Malik Obama, the half-brother of former President Barack Obama, is reviving the birther movement.

The Kenyan-born and current U.S. resident who has long been an irritant to his more famous sibling as well as a supporter of the current president, produced what he claims is the true birth certificate of the former commander-in-chief, which indicates that he was also born in Kenya.

It indicates that Barack Obama’s actual place of birth was at Coast Province General Hospital in Mombasa, Kenya.

Asking, “Surely. What’s this?” Malik posted this image to his Twitter feed Thursday:

If the document looks familiar, it’s because it’s been floating out in cyberspace for some time. It was originally unearthed in 2009 by Lucas Smith, who briefly offered it for sale on eBay before the website took it down for violating its policy banning the sale of government documents, according to the Daily Mail.

The place of the former president’s birth was an issue in 2008 because the U.S. Constitution permits on;y natural born citizens to become president.

In 2011 the White House offered this as proof of the president’s place of birth, indicating that he was born in Hawaii.

Malik has long been a supporter of President Donald Trump, and is shown wearing a “Make America Great Again” ball cap on his Twitter avatar.

He often used Twitter to show his enthusiasm for Trump‘s policies as well as his distaste for Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential election.

Since the election, his support clearly hasn’t wavered.

After the Mail published its story on Malik Obama’s “discovery” of the Kenyan birth certificate, he tweeted:

But Malik’s followers indicated that at this point they were just happy his half-brother was no longer in the White House. But they thanked him for the information anyway.
