Hollywood snowflakes got a head start on their predicted protest of President Donald Trump in Academy Awards speeches with another protest.
This one held in Beverly Hills and led by actor Michael J. Fox and actress Jodie Foster, the BBC reported.

“As the very, very dead Frederick Douglass once said, ‘Anytime is a good time for illumination,’” Foster told the crowd at the protest organized by United Talent Agency “And this is the time for illumination. I believe this time is filled with light.”
The UTA cancelled its annual Oscar’s party in favor of the demonstration after the president issued a temporary travel ban on immigrants from seven majority Muslim nations.
It is unlikely that many of those immigrants will be housed in Beverly Hills where the average home value exceeds $21 million and only 1.7 percent of the population is not white, black or Asian.

“I believe that when so much good has been done unto you it’s natural to feel a sense of civic or even global responsibility,” Fox said.
“I consider myself an optimist and that can be a tall order at times for me personally, and more as I see a growing intolerance and lack of compassion and empathy in the world around us.
“But one’s dignity may be assaulted, it may be vandalised, it may be cruelly mocked, but it can never be taken away unless it’s surrendered,” the Canadian born actor, who became a citizen of the United States decades ago, told the rally.
Foster said she has found “small ways” to help people but, she said, it’s “a very different year and it’s time to show up. It’s a singular time in history. It’s time to engage.”

“I’m not somebody who’s very comfortable using my public face for activism,” Foster, who was at the Women’s March, said as she, again, used her public face for activism.
