In order to smear President Donald Trump, the media pushed the story of a “Florida pastor” who claimed a recent rally the president held in Florida was filled with “demonic activity” and “hate” without bothering to note that this minister was an anti-Trump, illegal immigration activist.
One of the high-profile stories on Trump’s Melbourne, Florida, rally was the purported experience of Floridian Joel Tooley, lead pastor at Melbourne First Church of the Nazarene, by The Washington Post. The paper entitled its story, ‘Demonic activity was palpable’ at Trump’s rally, pastor says.
The paper’s story focused on a Facebook post Pastor Tooley made describing a rally filled with hate, fear and anger. Tooley also described a scene where two anti-Trump women who tried to disrupt the rally were shouted down by Trump supporters.
In his Facebook post, Tooley said what he saw among the Trump supporters was “demonic.”
I have been in places and experiences before where demonic activity was palpable. The power of the Holy Spirit of God was protecting me in those moments and was once again protecting me and my daughter in this moment.
The media was happy to push the pastor’s “demonic” label for Trump’s rally.
The Post started its story quoting Tooley as being excited to go to the rally. “I am enough of a sentimentalist that when I found out THEEEE President was coming to town, I got online quickly and reserved two tickets,” the paper quoted the pastor as saying.
This “excitement,” though, is a bit hard to believe. It isn’t very likely that Tooley went to the rally with any other intention than to find a reason to attack it. After all, his Twitter account proves that he was a bitter anti-Trumper from the beginning. Naturally, The Washington Post doesn’t tell its readers that Tooley has been known for attacking the president.

And before the election, Tooley announced he was not voting for Trump and praised Hillary Clinton…
