Pitiful libs hold virtual ‘Trump Impeachment Party’ complete with a theme song to express euphoria

Having failed at every other route to get rid of President Donald Trump, the loony left is banking on impeachment.

They’ve even come up with a theme song called — you guessed it — “Impeachment,” and it has progressives dancing in the streets.

Although the song does little more than spell out and repeat the word “impeachment,” it was enough to get the party started and send Trump-haters into a frenzy of euphoria.

Yes it is happening — at least plans for impeachment have been happening. In fact, a leaked memo from the far-left group Media Matters indicates that impeachment plans have been in the works even before Trump was sworn in as commander-in-chief last month.

The impeachment partygoers imagined the former president and first lady taking part in the festivities.

The perception of the Obamas celebrating Trump’s demise isn’t far off the mark. Recent reports indicate that former President Obama is working hard behind the scenes to sabotage Trump’s presidency.

The ever-bonkers Rep. Maxine Waters openly called for Trump’s head on a platter. The California Democrat apparently thought he could be impeached simply because she didn’t like him.

But alas, it isn’t as simple as all that. As Quartz Media recently reported, two events would have to occur in order for Trump to be impeached.

First of all a member of the House of Representatives needs to actually charge Trump with a “high crime or misdemeanor.”

Although there may have been a few missteps committed by the Trump administration, none of them can be elevated to that point — not even close.

Secondly, the lawmaker making the charge will have to convince a bushel of Republicans to vote with him for impeachment.

As of Monday there are 239 House Republicans versus 193 House Democrats, according to the House Press Gallery. It’s going to take a lot of convinced Republicans to overcome those odds.

Add to that, even if the House were to conquer these two impossible hurdles and impeach Trump, the matter then goes to the Senate, where it takes two-thirds of that chamber in order to convict him.

And when reality hit the country’s liberals, it was as though they had crashed from a thee-day cocaine high. Not pretty.

So who did they take it out on? Who else but the Republicans.

The left’s hypocrisy was duly noted also.

Conclusion? It’s time for progressives to stop the bellyaching and work with the man in the White House. They may even manage to get a few things accomplished if they do.
