Journalist accuses Omarosa of physically threatening her in ‘Secret Serviceable’ incident outside the Oval

The White House correspondent for American Urban Radio Networks, April Ryan, claims she was “physically intimidated” by Trump administration official Omarosa Manigault.

Manigault, a former “Apprentice” star who is now a White House communications official, got into a heated argument with Ryan just outside the Oval Office last week, according to The Washington Post.

“She stood right up in my face like she was going to hit me,” Ryan told The Post. “I said, ‘You better back up.’”

“She thought I would be bullied,” Ryan added. “I won’t be.”

Washington Post reporter Abby Phillip was among the witnesses to the incident, though Phillip said she didn’t hear everything. She did say Ryan told her afterward that Manigault’s behavior was “Secret Serviceable,” which means it called for law enforcement intervention.

Ryan also claimed Manigault told her the Trump White House has “dossiers” on her and several other African-American journalists.

Manigault dismissed the incident entirely in a statement late Monday, according to The Post.

“My comment: Fake news!” Manigault said.

The women were once friends, and Ryan saw the incident as a threat to her livelihood.

“It’s just ugly. She’s trying to harm my integrity and my career,” she said. “I’ve been [covering the White House] for 20 years. I plan to be here for the next 20 years. You don’t mess with someone’s livelihood.”
