This is what tolerance looks like for the left: A violent riot broke out at the University of California, Berkeley, over a scheduled appearance by Breitbart News editor Milo Yiannopoulos.
So called “anti-fascist” left-wing fascists turned to violence to successfully shut down free speech. UC Berkeley canceled the event and issued a shelter-in-place warning as protesters threw Molotov cocktails, shot fireworks at the facility where Yiannopoulos was set to speak and smashed glass all around.
…and beat people in the streets.

The controversial right-wing figure released a statement on Facebook:
I have been evacuated from the UC Berkeley campus after violent left-wing protestors tore down barricades, lit fires, threw rocks and Roman candles at the windows and breached the ground floor of the building. My team and I are safe. But the event has been cancelled. I’ll let you know more when the facts become clear. One thing we do know for sure: the Left is absolutely terrified of free speech and will do literally anything to shut it down.
Rioters wearing masks to shield their identities seemed to act with impunity as the appearance of law enforcement was scarce. With little to no consequences for their dangerous behavior, things quickly spiraled out of control.
UC Berkeley noted in a released statement that “no arrests had been made by UCPD as of 9:30 p.m” … all the while touting itself as “the home of the Free Speech Movement.”

Supporters of Yiannopoulos were targeted, as were Trump supporters and those who simply stood for free speech.
