One of the plaintiffs in a federal lawsuit filed against President Donald Trump by the Committee on American-Islamic Relations on Monday has quite the history.
Linda Sarsour, the executive director of the Arab American Association of New York, was one of the “fierce activists” who helped organized the anti-Trump feminist march in Washington on January 21 — Sarsour is on the far left in the photo below.
Sarsour’s view of the president was apparent in a Huffington Post interview she did in December, long before Trump ever took office.
“Trump’s administration is a nightmare being manifested into an administration,” she said. “It’s important we women show we are not afraid.”
And in conflict with women’s rights, Sarcour is an apparent supporter of Sharia law in the U.S.

Even more alarming, members of Sarsour’s family have reportedly been linked to the terrorist organization Hamas, although the Muslim-American activist dismisses the claims as political attacks.

“The opposition cannot fathom to see a Palestinian Muslim American woman that resonates with the masses – someone whose track record is clear and has always stood up for the most marginalized,” she wrote on Facebook, according to The Jerusalem Post. “They have a coordinated attack campaign against me and it’s vicious and ugly. It’s not the first time, but it’s definitely more intense.”
The Daily Caller recently reported that while speaking at the 15th annual convention of the Muslim American Society and Islamic Circle of North America last month, Sarsour “posed for a picture with Salah Sarsour, a member of the Islamic Society of Milwaukee and former Hamas operative who was jailed in Israel in the 1990s because of his alleged work for the terrorist group.”

But former red-diaper baby David Horowitz’s Frontpage Magazine chronicled far more extensive links.
More from FPM on Sarsour’s alleged ties to Hamas:
In 2004, Sarsour acknowledged that a friend of hers as well as a cousin were both serving long sentences in Israeli jails because of their efforts to recruit jihadists to murder Jews. Moreover, she revealed that her brother-in-law was serving a 12-year prison term because of his affiliation with Hamas.
Speaking of creepy realtives, Sarsour’s husband, Maher Judeh, mourned the 1998 death of the Hamas “master terrorists” Adel and Imad Awadallah; he praised the heroism of a Palestinian Authority police officer who had carried out a shooting attack at a checkpoint in Israel; he has expressed support for the terrorist organization Fatah; and he has lauded the founder of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a Marxist-Leninist revolutionary organization.
