It’s never wise to tangle with a grieving mother.
A woman whose son was murdered by an illegal immigrant locked horns with an immigration advocate over a set of executive orders on illegal immigration President Trump signed Wednesday.

“Angel mom” Laura Wilkerson appeared on Fox News Channel’s “The First 100 Days” where she debated with Jose Antonio Vargas, founder of Define American and who is a Philippine-born undocumented immigrant.
Wilkerson expressed relief that the United States finally has a leader who is willing to enforcer existing immigration law and protect the borders.
Vargas countered that the vast majority of those who are in the country are-law-abiding citizens.
“To be in this country illegally is a civil offense — not a criminal one,” he told Fox News host Martha MacCallum.
He went on to claim that those who reside in the country illegally, including himself, as living in a “gray area.”
Wilkerson was having none of that “gray area” nonsense.
“I don’t know if you understand what a ‘tough day’ is in the life of a parent who’s lost a child at the hands of an illegal in this country,” Wilkerson said. “You’re legal or illegal. It’s one way or the other. There’s no ‘gray area.'”
MacCallum added that whether the majority of undocumented immigrants are otherwise law-abiding is immaterial.
These are laws that are on the books,” she said. “What’s wrong with a country having a border, with controlling who comes in and who goes out?” she asked.
