While the left is still wailing over the election of Donald Trump as America’s 45th president, there is one group that really welcomes the new commander in chief.
Border patrol agents.

Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council, told Fox News host Bill “O’Reilly that Trump has gained the confidence of the 16,000 border patrol agents he represents.
“We feel we now have a president that we can trust and that has the political will to finally secure the border,” Judd said. “We expect to see an awful lot of policies that have undermined border security changed in the near future.”
Trump announced his candidacy with the promise to get serious on illegal immigration, including the building of a wall at the southern border.
“The message that we have sent is that if you come here and you break our laws, we’re going to let you go, and you’re going to be able to stay in the United States,” Judd said, adding that if Trump lives up to his promises, he will “stop that cold.”
Judd added that a massive wall isn’t really needed to stem the flood of illegal immigration — a simple barrier at strategic locations is all that’s necessary.
“We want to dictate where they cross,” Judd said. “And with border walls, we’re able to dictate where they cross, and it allows us to be as successful as possible.”

Judd expressed confidence that success will finally be attainable under Trump.
“Under this administration, I believe that we will secure the border.”
