Cover up tape on inaugural port-a-potties brings on the pee jokes, but company takes it seriously

Donald Trump is reportedly paying attention to the minutest of details in this week’s inauguration ceremonies, but this may be going a little too far.

A company named “Don’s Johns” was selected to supply the porta-potties for Friday’s presidential inauguration, but someone has been scrambling to cover their name with masking tape, the New York Post reported.

Robert Weghorst, chief operating officer for Don’s Johns, said they were not consulted about any of this.

“We’re proud to have our name on the units, and we’re planning to take the tape off of our logos,” Weghorst told The Post. “We didn’t know who was doing it.”

The reaction on social media was a mixed bag and, given the recent fake news about Trump, included the prerequisite reference to a golden shower.
