Trumps vs Obamas ‘Family Feud’? Libs lose it after Hillary fan Steve Harvey meets with PEOTUS

President-elect Donald Trump made a campaign promise to help America’s inner cities and he intends to keep it, but he knows he and newly minted Housing and Urban Development Secretary Dr. Ben Carson are going to need plenty of help.

To that end, Trump invited game show host, comedian, radio personality, and former Hillary Clinton supporter Steve Harvey to Trump Tower on Friday to discuss the problems plaguing the inner cities, and how Harvey can be of service.

After the meeting, America’s “King of Comedy” told reporters, “We’re gonna team up and see if we can bring about some positive change in the inner cities, which I felt was my only agenda. He agreed, and he wants to do something. And he realizes that he needs some allies in that department. He seemed really sincere about it.”

Trump himself didn’t offer details on the meeting, but did call Harvey “a great friend of ours,” telling reporters that “Steve just came up to say hello.”

After Trump had left, Harvey offered more information about help for America’s inner cities. After one reporter asked if Chicago was one, the comedian responded, “Chicago is definitely one. Another one they want to start with as a target is Detroit. Ben Carson expressed that because quite naturally he is from Detroit. I want to do something with all of the major inner cities to see if we can bring about some change and help some of these young people out. And so that’s why I’m here, and it was a successful meeting. And he seemed really sincere.”

Of what that help would actually be, Harvey suggested something similar to mentoring programs he’s already helping with.

“We had a great conversation. We’re gonna get some things started. They have a plan for the inner cities, but they need help. And so that’s why they called me. So, we’ll see what I can do.”

As for suggestions that he was getting into politics, Harvey laughed them off, saying, “I ain’t gonna pass a background check.”

“But it’s just me following orders from my friend President Obama who said ‘Steve, you’ve got to’ — as he told everybody — ‘get out from behind your computers, stop tweeting and texting and get out there and sit down and talk. So I stepped from behind my microphone and I came and talked to the guy that’s going to be the 45th president of the United States. I did what I was supposed to do.”

Though Harvey ardently supported Hillary Clinton during the election, even to the point of letting her people help write the script for her appearance on The Steve Harvey Show back in October, Harvey said that he considers it “an honor to be invited to talk…”

Harvey continued, “and I think that’s the only way that we’re going to unify our country. We’ve got to talk.”

Harvey also described some light moments during their conversation, including joking about each other’s golf scores. When a reporter asked if he would like to get Trump’s family on Family Feud, Harvey laughed and said, “Yeah, against the Obamas. That’d be good. Or how about the Clintons? If I could set it up, it’d be skyrocketing for the ratings.”

Indeed it would!

Naturally, liberals were hysterical over the meeting, even going so far as some serious name-calling.
