President-elect Donald Trump was active on social media early Saturday, to include calling for better relations with Russia, saying “only ‘stupid’ people or fools” would disagree with that.

The soon-to-be president dismissed claims by U.S. intelligence officials that Russia intervened in the U.S. election to improve his chance of winning, saying there is “no evidence that hacking affected the election results.” He said Democrats continue to push the issue because they’re “totally embarrassed” after losing so big.

Trump also said Russia will “respect” the United States “far more” once he’s president. Shaking off any remaining cold war shadows, he suggested the two countries could work together to solve some of the problems facing the world.

A U.S. intelligence report released Friday said Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a direct attempt to help Trump prevail, ordered Russian intelligence to meddle in the U.S. election.
