Feisty Omarosa lands a job with Trump

Former contestant on “The Apprentice” and a vocal supporter of President-elect Donald Trump, Omarosa Manigault may now be part of the new White House staff.

Manigault will reportedly join the president-elect’s staff in a role that will focus on public engagement, according to two people familiar with the decision, The New York Post reported.

One of Trump’s most prominent African-American supporters during the election campaign, Manigault has been working with the Trump transition team since the election.

Recognized best by her first name, the 42-year-old was an infamous contestant on the first season of Trump’s “The Apprentice” and was “fired” after nine weeks. She made several return appearances on the “Apprentice” franchise and appeared on other reality shows as well.

Manigault stayed close to Trump over the years and served as the presidential campaign’s director of African-American outreach. She has faced criticism for her sometimes quite outspoken praise of Trump, stating back in September that every critic one day “will have to bow down to President Trump.”

She posted a collage of photos on Twitter stating she was “Excited about 2017!” but has offered no other announcement.

Though details were not available on Manigault’s new role, this will not her first stint at the White House. She served in the office of Vice President Al Gore during the Clinton administration, the Post reported.
