The insanity of seeing racism where none exists took another leap forward over the Christmas holiday.
Actor Lance Gross sparked an intense social media debate over “colorism” after sharing a holiday photo of himself and his wife, along with a few friends.
The photo features four couples and a black woman sitting alone, separate from the group.

Race hustlers quickly concluded that the woman, who has a darker complexion than the other lighter-skinned women in the photo, was being shunned for that reason. They even claimed it was an example of how dominate white supremacy is in society.
Here’s a sample of the responses from social justice warriors:
It was totally irresponsible of Lance Gross and everyone else involved in the photos to do this. Colorism runs rampant in our community.

Gross, best known for his role on TBS’ “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne,” took to Instagram to comment on “the ignorant sh*t,” explaining that the photo was an “inside joke” that has been happening for years — the aloof woman is single. He included previous photos to support his assertion.
Even the woman sitting to the side stepped up to defend the photo, explaining that she has a boyfriend but he wasn’t with her during the visit, according to AOL News.
“ALL OF US in this photo are beautiful Black people” she said. “NEWSFLASH: Black people come in ALL shades!! And just so everyone can RELAX, the photo is a annual tradition– ITS A JOKE! I’m dating someone special, but he didn’t come to Big Bear this year. I take a pic like this EVERY YEAR making fun of the fact that I’m the only single one in the couples pic. Calm down people! Go enjoy your family, and stop worrying about OURS!!”
Comedian Steve Martin’s Carrie Fisher tweet falls victim to the PC-police. What a shame.
Either way, Gross had no tolerance for the insanity, adding a photo of deceased rapper Tupac Shakur flipping a bird, along with the caption: “All I have to say about all this ignorant sh*t at the moment …”
