George Bush surprising hospitalized kids at Christmas is STILL warming hearts across the nation

Folks on Twitter are remembering the time that George W. Bush donned the guise of Santa Claus to visit sick kids in the hospital. The photos of the visit will warm your heart every time.

Santa Bush visited the Children’s Medical Center of Dallas back in 2014, but with Christmas upon us again this is as good a time as any to remember how cool “W” really is. He’s a far cry from the “hopeless” Obamas, anyway.

The ex-President’s Secret Service detail got into the spirit and tagged along as Bush’s elves.

Texas Supreme Court Justice Don Willett’s tweet reminding everyone of Bush’s Santa scheme brought a lot of surprised and happy replies.

Others, though, thought W’s Santa visit stands in contrast to anything the Obamas would ever do.

And at least one slammed George Bush for his selfless act and at the same time erroneously assuming he was still president when he made the Santa visit…
