Electors only first shots; massive firepower gunning for Trump’s impeachment already, Cavuto warns

Democrats and their celebrity pals were hoping against hope they might persuade Republicans in the Electoral College to vote against President-elect Donald Trump.

Twenty Black Lives Matter dudes jumped by 4 Trump supporters or another ‘hate crime’ hoax? You decide . . .

And as unlikely as that is, the left’s effort to go after Trump is only just beginning, which prompted an interesting panel discussion led by Fox News’ Neil Cavuto.

“They’re going after Donald Trump,” said guest Gary Kaltbaum. “It’s going to start when he starts his presidency; 1,460 days of driving to the hoop on the guy.”

Cavuto questioned whether the goal is “to make Donald Trump damaged goods, and coming in, to make him a damaged president?”

“They are setting it up, along with the national media, to destroy this guy,” Kaltbaum added later. “They are going to investigate him every day. Accuse him every day.”

This prompted Cavuto to note that Democratic lawmakers are already talking “high crimes and misdemeanors” over Trump’s business entanglements — an impeachable offense before Trump has even taken office.

“I think it’s a bit premature to say get the impeachment running,” Cavuto pointed out.
