Scarborough rips Giuliani, Conway for ’embarrassing’ attempt to ‘intimidate’ Trump

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough used Twitter Sunday to slam former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Kellyanne Conway, senior adviser to President-elect Donald Trump.

In one tweet, Scarborough said Giuliani dictates “what position he will and will not accept from Trump,” while Conway “attacks Trump’s choices in public.”

The comment was in reference to the very public debate over whether Trump will select Giuliani or 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney as the next secretary of state.

For the record, Conway let it be known Sunday that she’s definitely not in Romney’s corner.

But Scarborough wasn’t finished, going after Giuliani and Conway for an “embarrassing” attempt “to intimidate” Trump — if that’s even possible — in a second post.

“Giuliani and Conway are trying to intimidate the President Elect. How weak do they think he is? Their lack of discretion is embarrassing,” he tweeted.

Ironically, Scarborough then made a play of his own at trying to influence Trump, intimating that world leaders will be watching to see if he “can be bullied by his staff.”
