While liberals saw nothing wrong with Vice President-elect Mike Pence being dressed down by an actor at Friday’s Broadway performance of “Hamilton: An American Musical,” they blasted Dr. Ben Carson when he pointed out the problems of Barack Obama’s liberal policies at the 2013 National Prayer Breakfast.

Fox News host Megyn Kelly played several short clips of liberal commentators applauding the casts member’s actions toward Pence, and criticizing President-elect Donald Trump’s denouncement if it. One even called it “a respectful ‘thank you’ to Mike Pence for coming to the show.”
Fox News contributor Marc Thiessen observed that “there’s a long tradition of speaking truth to power at the National Prayer Breakfast,” and recalled Mother Theresa doing the same to Bill and Hillary in 1994.
Kelly also observed that Brandon Victor Dixon, the actor who publicly dressed down Pence after the performance, had made some racially and sexually explosive comments in the past on social media.
“The Third Wave’s” Mark Bennett claimed that Carson’s critique of Obama was inappropriate because he was “standing at the president’s podium” when he lectured “the president about policy.”
“Pence was trying to see a Broadway show,” Kelly shot back.
The Fox News host eventually said that it’s “quintessentially American” to maintain a free and open dialogue.
