Donald Trump campaign manager and top transition team advisor Kellyanne Conway said that the time for divisive partisan politics is over — there’s too much work to be accomplished for that nonsense.

This was in reply to a statement made by Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid Friday, calling the president-elect “a sexual predator who lost the popular vote and fueled his campaign with bigotry and hate.”
“Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace brought Reid’s statement up at about the 13:40 mark into the interview.
Conway said she was disappointed with this and similar rhetoric coming from Reid.
“I find Harry Reid’s public comments and insults about Donald Trump and other Republicans to be beyond the pale,” Conway told Wallace. “They’re incredibly disappointing.”
When Conway added that the Nevada Democrat should be “very careful” about making such comments in the future, Wallace wondered if that meant Reid might find himself on the receiving end of a lawsuit.
“No, I’m not suggesting that at all. I’m calling for responsibility and maturity and decency for somebody who has held one of the highest positions in our government, in a country of more than 300 million people,” Conway said.
“I hope President Obama calls Harry Reid today and says, ‘Cut it out.'”
The two also discussed future plans for the next president, including amending the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), the presidential transition team and bringing the divided country back together after the election.
