As businessman Donald Trump surged past Democrat titan Hillary Clinton to win the White House, many mainstream media anchors seemed on the verge of tears. No more so than CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, who stumbled through his broadcast yesterday desperate to find any good news for Hillary. And Twitter was merciless as it mocked his despair.
Many viewers of CNN felt Blitzer was spending more time desperately trying to find rays of sunshine for Hillary Clinton than he was in actually reporting the real news that Donald Trump was winning.
Viewers also thought that Wolf and the CNN crew needed to be placed on suicide watch!
