Eric Holder trashes FBI Director James Comey in scathing op-ed

Hillary Clinton has unleashed all her attack dogs on FBI Director James Comey, who’s now taking incoming from all sides.

Sunday night, dozens of former prosecutors brutally slammed Comey in an open letter circulated by the Clinton camp.

Now, former Attorney General Eric Holder is blasting Comey in a scathing op-ed, saying his decision to reopen a criminal investigation into Clinton’s unsecured email server has eroded public trust in the FBI.

Holder, who was Attorney General from 2009 to 2015, said Comey is a “man of integrity and honor” who has made a grave mistake.

“I fear he has unintentionally and negatively affected public trust in both the Justice Department and the FBI,” Holder wrote in a Washington Post op-ed published Sunday night.

“I am deeply concerned about FBI Director James B. Comey’s decision to write a vague letter to Congress about emails potentially connected to a matter of public, and political, interest. That decision was incorrect. It violated long-standing Justice Department policies and tradition.”

Of course, Holder failed to mention that public trust in the FBI plunged in July after Comey recommended that Clinton not be indicted despite a mountain of evidence suggesting she had endangered national security by using an unsecured server.

At the time, the Clinton camp praised Comey for letting her off the hook, but has since viciously turned on him after he reopened the FBI probe.

As many as 650,000 emails sent to or from Clinton’s private email server were recently found on the laptop of Anthony Weiner, the estranged husband of Hillary Clinton’s top aide, Huma Abedin.

Thousands of newly released Wikileaks emails also show Clinton and her camp scrambled to shade the truth about her private basement server and were well aware that what she did was wrong.

Abedin claims she has no idea how her emails ended up on her husband’s laptop.

Her claims of ignorance are laughable and frightening because she could end up being White House chief of staff if Clinton gets elected president.
