Europe continues to deal with the consequences of opening the flood gates for millions of Muslim refugees from the Middle East.
The latest example of the turmoil was seen this week in Italy, when thousands of Islamic worshipers turned out for Friday prayers outside Rome’s Colosseum in protest of the closure of mosques and other places of worship in the country, according to the Daily Mail.
Italy is concerned about the risk of radicalization at makeshift mosques.

More from the Daily Mail:
Thousands of Muslims gathered outside Rome’s Colosseum to protest the closure of mosques and other places of worship in the Italian capital.
The group gathered outside the iconic ancient Roman building to pray as they promoted their right of freedom to worship during the peaceful march yesterday.
An imam led the group in chants of ‘Allah Akbar’ which means ‘God is great,’ as they kneeled to the ground facing the Colosseum.
Islam is not recognized as an official religion in Italy, which allows the government to control how many mosques and prayer facilities are being built and registered, The Daily Beast reported.
With an Islamic population of 1.6 million people, there are four official mosques in Italy, along with 800 registered cultural centers and prayer rooms, according to the online news outlet. Rome is home to the biggest mosque in the western world.
