Former Access Hollywood anchor Billy Bush is trying to get while the getting is good.
After the Washington Post released a bombshell video of GOP nominee Donald Trump engaged in “locker room banter” with Bush, the television host is trying to downplay his role in the crude exchange as little more than “playing along.”
Talk about sleazy . . . at least man up, dude.
“Obviously I’m embarrassed and ashamed,” Bush said in a statement. “It’s no excuse, but this happened eleven years ago – I was younger, less mature, and acted foolishly in playing along. I’m very sorry.”
But it gets even worse for Bush, as Access Hollywood reported the woman the two were discussing was none other than Bush’s coworker, former anchor Nancy O’Dell — Trump was explaining how he tried to move on O’Dell, who was married.

Trump, saying he is not a “perfect man,” issued a full apology late Friday, which can be seen HERE.
