Kim Kardashian was just gagged and robbed at gunpoint, despite Paris’ tough gun control laws

Reality TV superstar Kim Kardashian West was robbed of millions of dollars in jewelry at gunpoint in Paris on Sunday night and all of the city strict gun laws couldn’t help her.

The armed gang of thugs dressed as police officers, bound and gagged Kardashian West in the bathroom of her hotel room with a gun to her head as they robbed her and she begged for her life, TMZ reported.

The gunmen took a jewelry box and the $4.5 million engagement ring given to her by her husband, Kanye West.

As for Kanye, he stopped his show mid performance after he was informed of the incident.

“Sorry, family emergency. I have to stop the show,” he told the crowd at Citi Field.

“Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening by two armed masked men dressed as police officers,” Ina Treciokas, a spokesperson for Kardashian West, told The Washington Post. “She is badly shaken but physically unharmed.”

France has some of the strictest gun laws in the world but they were of no use to the reality star on Sunday. Another sign that criminals don’t obey the law. Who knew?

“The French black market for weapons has been inundated with eastern European war artillery and arms,” the head of UNSA police union, Philippe Capon told Bloomberg News after the Charlie Hebdo attack. “They are everywhere in France.”

Kardashian West was in Paris for Fashion Week and had been posting updates to her social media. including one that showcased the stunning diamond.
