Hillary’s campaign manager gets HARSH smackdown by whole gang at MSNBC! Why the hell are you here?

MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” hosts blasted Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager after he repeatedly avoided answering questions about Clinton’s stance on issues.

“We love you, buddy, but what are you here for if you can’t answer basic questions?” Joe Scarborough asked Robby Mook on Wednesday after Mook dodged questions about his boss and various topics, including Syria.

When asked about Clinton’s “biggest regret about the way Syria’s been handled,” Mook  pointed to how long the former secretary of state has been out of that office. When pressed to answer the question again, Mook shifted the focus to President Obama.’

“Well, as you pointed out, the decision regarding that was made after she was out of office, so I think you’d have to ask President Obama,” Mook said.

Time and again, Mook dodged questions on Clinton’s policy stances, suggesting the Democratic presidential nominee be asked directly. Scarborough finally called him out, wondering why he agreed to the interview if he was not going to provide answers.

“Look, you’re asking new policy questions,” Mook said. “You would have to ask the secretary.”

“New?” Scarborough fired back. “Aleppo’s been around for—Syria’s been around for some time.”

“I mean, I don’t know if there’s a—I mean, we may be tiptoeing into Gary Johnson territory here if you don’t know the answer to that basic of a question. What is the response to Aleppo? Then why do we have you here?” Scarborough asked, exasperated.

Several times, Mook’s response was “I’m going to let her statements speak for themselves,” referring to Clinton’s policies.

“Robby, aren’t you here representing her point of view?” co-host Willie Geist asked.

“I am, indeed,” Mook laughed.

“You’ve been saying Donald Trump won’t tell us what the policy is, but here you are not telling us what the policy is,” Geist said, reminding Mook that he repeatedly accused the Republican nominee of not providing more information.

You are quoting Secretary Clinton’s plans as she has laid them out,” Mook replied, seeming to find the whole thing humorous. “I’m going to let her words speak for themselves.”

Scarborough joked that his opening question to Mook was probably the only one that got a proper response.

“My first question, I think, was the best, about Brangelina,” Scarborough said. “We could get an answer on that.”
