Country music legend Charlie Daniels might consider himself a reluctant Donald Trump supporter and while he stops short of endorsing the GOP nominee, he likes how Trump stands out in a crowd.
“Regardless of what your impression of Trump is, you simply cannot ignore him. Which is more than I can say for most of the candidates running on both tickets,” Daniels has previously said.
Daniels, 79, joined host Neil Cavuto Friday on Fox News’ “Your World” and said the November election is an important one and that he hopes folks turn out to vote.
…otherwise, keep you grousing to yourself — the outspoken recording artist used a little more colorful term.
“I would love to see the major part of the electorate turn out in this election and I certainly hope they will because it is a very important one, whoever they vote for,” said Daniels, who’ll be inducted later this year into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
“If you don’t vote, don’t b*tch.”
