Now even Fox News’ Geraldo Rivera is throwing former boss Roger Ailes under the bus

Fox News’ Geraldo Rivera has fallen on his sword and offered a public apology to Gretchen Carlson after he initially defended his former boss, Roger Ailes, against sexual harassment claims.

In a blistering Facebook post titled “Roger and me” the brash TV news veteran called his former boss a “deceitful, selfish misogynist” whose “shame and banishment are well earned.”

Rivera said he was “blindsided” by the charges against Ailes which is why he “responded to Gretchen Carlson’s initial filing of her lawsuit with extreme skepticism.”

He said his defense of Ailes also cost him a book deal for his war memoir.

Despite the apology, the response Rivera got on social media was brutal.

Geraldo is white?
