Democrats are very worried about Election Day this year because Hillary Clinton just can’t seem to seal the deal in an election they think should be a cake walk and no sector of the Democrat coalition is more “freaked out” than Hollywood.
One denizen of Hollywood, David Schneiderman, co-owner and founder of Seismic Productions and big Clinton booster, told TheWrap.com that he is on edge this year.
“I’m freaked out,” Schneiderman said. “I now post stuff on Facebook every day bugging all my friends to do something. No one wants to wake up to Donald Trump on November 8.”
Schneiderman’s comment comes on the tail of a new CNN poll that shows Trump edging into the lead, shocking Democrats across the country.
TheWrap also tried to sell the Democrat Convention as a “smooth” affair, despite the reality of the situation. The DNC event was far from “smooth.” To name just a few kinks, the convention started without an American flag in sight until people online began to notice. Then the Party launched a desperate search to find flags to fill the stage to defeat the complaints that they were anti-American. The convention was also charged with being anti-police by scheduling one anti-cop speaker after another. Then there was the heckling when they tried to read the name of our war dead.
And that is besides the massive number of protesters outside the venue. Many of those protesters were reported to be Bernie Sanders fans who were not allowed to re-enter the stadium. Bernie supporters lucky enough to eventually regain entry took pictures and video showing a half-empty stadium and accused the Clinton camp of hiring paid “cheering” seat fillers.
Even as left-wing an outlet as The Daily Beast noted that the Democrat convention was “so much more of a mess” than the GOP counterpart.
Speaking of Hollywood elites, actress Susan Sarandon was so disgusted with the Democrat Convention she couldn’t hide it. And as she supported insurgent candidate Bernie Sanders, Sarandon even said Hillary is “very dangerous” for the country.
But, other than that… it was smoooooth.
And as Hillary faces more questions over her lies about her email troubles, there is reason for liberals to be worried. Hillary Clinton is so unlikable, so untrustworthy, that she just can’t seal the deal this election.
