Trump atones for ‘Two Corinthians’ gaffe in a BIG way in Detroit, and Christians will be pleased

Just like his visits to Louisiana and Mexico, Donald Trump has had a knack lately of being exactly where he needs to be.

That pattern continued on Saturday as the Republican nominee continued his outreach to the black community with a visit to Detroit’s Great Faith Ministries International.

Despite the howls of protesters down the street, Trump was treated warmly by the pastor and congregants, and made it clear that he was there “to listen to you … to learn.”

This isn’t exactly what he was talking about, of course, but Trump has apparently learned a few other things along the way, including correct American Christian lingo.

In a January speech to students and faculty at Liberty University, the billionaire businessman drew criticism for referring to the book of Second Corinthians as “Two Corinthians.”

On Saturday, however, Trump NAILED IT.

“I’d like to conclude with a passage from First John, Chapter 4: You know it!” Trump told the congregants. “You see most groups I speak to don’t know that. But we know. If you want we can say it together. ‘No one has ever seen God but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.'”

So, if you were one of those Christians who got your panties in a wad over this, hopefully you can rest easy now and move on to more important matters, like saving our country!
