A war of words erupted on Twitter between the former president of Mexico and Donald Trump.
When the Republican presidential nominee accepted the invitation of Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto to meet in Mexico City, former President Vicente Fox was not pleased.

Fox called the Trump-Peña Nieto meeting “a desperate move on both sides” in an appearance on CNN on Wednesday, adding that no one could trust Trump.
Trump responded via Twitter:
Former President Vicente Fox, who is railing against my visit to Mexico today, also invited me when he apologized for using the “f bomb.”

This prompted a reply from Fox:
@realDonaldTrump, I invited you to come and apologize to all Mexicans. Stop lying! Mexico is not yours to play with, show some respect.

And a short time later, Trump fired back.
Once again I caught lying to the American people. This time about @VicenteFoxQue. It never changes! @realDonaldTrump pic.twitter.com/18AtUA16B0

There will probably be a lot more of this as the Trump’s visit to Mexico unfolds.
