Sick media says Rudy Giuliani forgot about 9/11; here’s how he responds to the hackjob . . .

Rudy Giuliani responded to a storm of criticism over his remark that the U.S. didn’t have any successful radical Islamic terrorist attack in the eight years prior to President Barack Obama by saying that he was using “abbreviated language.”

Giuliani, who was mayor of New York City on 9/11, also explained he could “hardly” forget that tragic day.

“I didn’t forget 9/11,” he told the New York Daily News. “I hardly would. I almost died in it.”

The Republican politician did admit that he could have been more clear during his speech, but said his brevity was a result of time limitations.

“You speak in somewhat abbreviated language,” Giuliani said. “All human beings speak in abbreviated language at times.”

“When you’re giving a speech, you only have five minutes, you can’t give an encyclopedic explanation,” the former mayor added.

The hubbub began Monday when Giuliani was introducing Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Youngstown, Ohio.

“Under those eight years, before Obama came along, we didn’t have any successful radical Islamic terrorist attack inside the United States,” he told the crowd.

Critics immediately pounced, with some calling attention to Giuliani’s age and questioned whether he was showing early signs of dementia.

Others, including the Daily News, pointed to a “mysterious head injury” he suffered the week before — Giuliani explained at the time that he hit his head on a glass door during a fall in the shower.

In reference to the bump, Giuliani said he was feeling “terrific.”
