Head of powerful police union: Barack Obama ‘has blood on his hands’ that can’t be ‘washed off!’

When responding to three police officers being murdered Sunday in Baton Rouge, the president of the Cleveland Police Patrolmen’s Association tore into President Barack Obama, saying the president has “blood on his hands.”

Appearing Sunday on Fox News, Det. Steve Loomis did not hold back in assigning blame for the recent attacks on law enforcement that has resulted in a death toll of eight cops. The officer said the country is seeing an “escalation” in attacks on cops after Obama “validated a false narrative and the nonsense that Black Lives Matter and the media are pressing out there to the public.”

“It’s absolutely insane that we have a president of the United States and a governor of Minnesota making the statements they made less than one day after the police-involved shootings,” Loomis said, pointing to the shooting of Philando Castile in Minnesota last week by a police officer.

“And those police-involved shootings, make no mistake, are what absolutely have triggered this rash of senseless murders of law enforcement officers across this country,” he insisted. “It’s reprehensible. And the president of the United States has blood on his hands that will not be able to come washed off.”

Following a familiar pattern, Obama stirred emotions in the country when he commented on the Castile shooting, lending credence to cries of racism when few facts are known about the shooting.

“When incidents like this occur, there’s a big chunk of our citizenry that feels as if, because of the color of their skin, they are not being treated the same, and that hurts,” America’s first black president declared in a statement the following day.

The head of Cleveland’s largest police union was just getting started in responding to the insanity behind the Black Lives Matter-driven “War on Cops.”

“How the hell did we ever become the bad guys in this country?” Loomis asked. “I can not imagine how we got here. It is the irresponsible reporting of the media and irresponsible statements from people who are credible – like the president of the United States. Like celebrities.”

And he was adamant that “this has got to end.”

“We need some leadership in this country to come forward and put an end to this,” Loomis said.
