Saying “our heroes will never be forgotten,” the Dallas Police Department released a moving tribute video to the members of its force who were killed and wounded by a black assassin driven by racial hatred.
Four Dallas police officers were killed, along with a Dallas Area Rapid Transit officer, and seven cops were wounded just over a week ago as a Black Lives Matter protest was coming to an end.
“On July 7, 2016, twelve officers were shot on duty by a sniper,” the video description begins. “Five of those officers died. Four were Dallas Police officers and one was a DART officer. Our heroes will never be forgotten.”
