Charles Barkley is blowing liberals’ minds with his unapologetic take on race & police violence

NBA legend Charles Barkley placed at least some of the blame for the recent officer-involved shootings in Louisiana and Minnesota on the black community.

“We’ve got to do better,” he said.

“There’s a lot of people at fault,” he claimed on “The Dan Lebatard Show” Tuesday.

“The cops have made some mistakes; black people have made some mistakes. We have to sit back and be honest with each other. The cops have made some mistakes, [but] that don’t give us the right to riot and shoot cops.”

The current YNT basketball analyst added that police perform a needed service — especially in crime-ridden ghetto areas.

“We need the cops, especially in the black community. We as black people, we’ve got to do better.”

He said that while activists focus on police-involved shootings, they ignore black-on-black crime.

“We never get mad when black people kill each other,” he said. “That always has bothered me.”

He said that respect has to be earned — first by giving one another respect.

“There is some reason why there’s racial stereotypes. Some black people are crooks,” he said.

“Some of these black people out there are committing crimes,” Barkley said. “Let’s don’t sit there and act like all our hands are clean.”
