There’s something very ironic about Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s remarks on the Dallas, Texas police shooting, in which five officers were killed and more wounded by snipers during a Black Lives Matter protest.
Lynch gave her statement today, essentially telling Black Lives Matter protesters to not let the incident weigh down their cause.
AG Lynch to protesters: "Do not be discouraged by those who would use your lawful actions as a cover for their heinous violence." #Dallas

The fact that Lynch dared to use the term “lawful actions” irked many on social media.
Of course, Lynch also called for gun control in the wake of the Dallas attack, which takes the assumption that lawful gun owners across the country are responsible and capable of attacks on police.
Social media users immediately caught on to Lynch’s statements and called her out quick:
@FoxNews like responsible registered gun owners?

What a fucking surprise. Can we not just put the blame on the people responsible? https://t.co/ReZNDqwJpK

@FoxNews Leave it to her to define “lawful actions…”

@TwitchyTeam she didn’t blame the gun in BR or MN, she blamed the shooter. Here and in Orlando she blames the gun but not the shooter.

Speaking of “lawful actions,” keen observers were quick to pick out the sick irony:
It’ ironic that Loretta Lynch said people should have equal justice under the law. #HillaryEmailSubjectLines #
