A new coffee shop coming to Virginia aims to be number one with a bullet.

Bullets and Beans, on its way to Hamilton, Va., definitely won’t be confused with Starbucks.

“It’s very inviting, it’s very family friendly. We want to do the firearms instruction. But you also have to have a coffee shop,” Tammy Jones who, along with her husband Kevin Jones, owns the business, said.

The coffee shop will be downstairs in the old 1880s bank building, along with a safe to store the guns. The firearms training will take place upstairs.

At a recent town hall meeting only one person spoke against the new store.

The gun portion of the store is set to open in July but the coffee shop will open later as the Jones’ await permission from the town.
