Singer Meat Loaf is in “stable and good” after he collapsed on stage Thursday night while performing his hit “I’d Do Anything For Love” in front of a crowd in Alberta, Canada.

He was suffering from “severe dehydration,” Rolling Stone reported.

Video of the incident captured by a fan shows the singer’s microphone hit the stage with a thud, and Meatloaf falling close behind.

Fellow musicians rushed to his side and the song stopped as fans remained silent.

“He was performing ‘I Would Do Anything For Love,’ and all of a sudden in the middle of it he collapsed right on stage. We weren’t sure at first whether it was part of the act or it was something for real,” Lindsay Sundmark told the Edmonton Journal.

“It looked at first like he was just being theatrical and lying down on the stage,” fan Britt Brewer said.

The audience can be heard yelling, “We love you!” and “Is this really happening?” as band-mates tended to the singer.

The 68-year-old crooner, real name Marvin Lee Aday, cancelled several shows for an undisclosed illness, eerily similar to what pop star Prince did before he died, TMZ reported.
