It didn’t take long for authorities to say that the Pulse nightclub shooter Omar Mateen was linked to Islamic extremism.
The death count on the massacre that occurred Sunday night at the popular Orlando gay hotspot has reached more than 50 people.
Historically, officials are reluctant to admit any links to Islamic extremism. FBI’s timely information in this case has taken most of the country by surprise.
If he were a right-wing, Christian extremist it is highly likely the left-leaning mainstream media would have already posted all of his social media activities, pictures and voter registration.
BPR checked the voter registration of the Florida man who matched the name, age and location of the shooter.
What we found is that this 29-year-old Omar Mir Seddique Mateen from Port St. Lucie is a registered Florida Democrat.
It’s likely you won’t see that information reported on the major networks.
