Rapper Kanye West caused a near riot on the streets of New York City early Monday that forced his secret concert to be shut down.

After the “Governor’s Ball” he was headlining was cancelled due to torrential rain the “Gold Digger” rapper scrambled to find a location to perform a more intimate set.

He found one in Manhattan’s Webster Hall, the Daily Mail reported.

But too many fans found out about the event when rapper 2 Chainz tweeted there would be “good music” at the venue at 2 a.m. and West tweeted that his 2 a.m. show was sold out.

“Good music” is an allusion to West’s record label G.O.O.D. Music.

That was enough for a crush of rabid fans to cause chaos as they tried to get into the venue.

West was even overheard on his wife, Kim Kardashian’s Snapchat asking someone to call New York Mayor Bill de Blasio to have the block “shut down.”

But it was to no avail as the crowd got so out of control the event had to be cancelled.

An official from Webster Hall informed the crowd by megaphone that the event was not going to happen and the East Village club also tweeted a message informing fans of the cancellation.

The angry crowd refused to move and chanted “Kanye,” “Governor’s Ball” and, inexplicably “F**k Donald Trump.”

The scene got even more out of hand when West drove by and hung out of the sunroof of the car he was travelling in sending fans chasing after the vehicle.

The chaos got so out of control that police were forced to use pepper spray to subdue the crowd, according to the Daily Mail.

Fortunately, according to New York City police, there were no significant injuries or property damage but one person was arrested for disorderly conduct.
