This is scary!
An Afghan national with known ties to the Taliban was found 15 miles inside Arizona from the US Southern border after being smuggled into the country, according to a shocking Washington Times report.
The Taliban-connected illegal immigrant was found among six illegals who made it across the southern border with the help of Brazilian gangs. The gangs were apparently able to get them in touch with Mexicans near the border.
Individuals from Pakistan and Palestine were with the Afghan man, who was described by US Homeland Security documents as “involved in a plot to conduct an attack in the U.S. and/or Canada.”
Some of the Middle Eastern men traveling with the five Pakistanis and Afghan man were caught before entering the country at the border, but the others were able to escape, making it all the way into Arizona.
The five Pakistanis were actually granted asylum and are now living in the country, but the Afghan man is currently detained by US officials after his name was run through an FBI database.
