Britney SpearsAnytime there’s a Hollywood awards show you can expect two things: Debauchery and some political or social statement.

Sunday night’s Billboard Music Awards show was no exception.

The event began with a performance by Britney Spears dressed in next to nothing and saying the word b**ch about a dozen times – without any censors.

And what stripperesque performance would have been complete without a stripper pole?

Not only did Spears swing on the pole but also grinded on a giant guitar.

All at 8 p.m. – immediately following family friendly “America’s Funniest Home Videos.”

As for the big political cause, Prince’s recent death took up a lot of the bloviating time this year, but popular singer Demi Lovato covered the all-important trans-bathroom issue in a different way.

Performing her song “Cool For The Summer,” which tells the story of two girls experimenting with gay love, she wore a gender neutral bathroom logo on her shirt.

Not to point out the obvious, but it’s likely her security doesn’t allow anyone in a bathroom with her.

Way to tell the rest of us, though!
