Former transgender takes on Obama over bathroom directive, saves punch to knock out big anti-LGTB lie

President Obama doesn’t know what the heck he’s talking about.

That was the opinion of someone who has been there, done that — former transgender Walt Heyer who runs a website called SexChangeRegret.com.

He was referring to the Obama administration’s directive ordering all public schools to allow transgender students to use the restroom facilities that matches their sexual identity.

In an op-ed published this week, Heyer observed that the administration’s threats to public schools followed “weeks of protests against the state of North Carolina for its so-called anti-LGBT bathroom bill.”

He then proved it wasn’t anti-LGBT at all.

Breaking the term “LGBT” down, he observed that lesbians and gays have no interest in using facilities other than those assigned to their own sex, and that bi-sexual individuals “have never been confused about their gender,” and that their sexual preference “doesn’t affect choice of restroom or locker room.”

Then Heyer tackled transgenders, first noting that one who is legally transgendered undergoes a lengthy process involving hormones and surgery, with the final step being that the person “legally changes the gender marker on his or her birth certificate.”

With that knowledge in hand, Heyer concludes:

The North Carolina law is not anti-T because the law clearly states that the appropriate restroom is the one that corresponds to the gender stated on the birth certificate. Therefore, a transgender person with a birth certificate that reads “female” uses the female restroom, even if the gender noted at birth was male.

Heyer said that the only group that laws like North Carolina’s would affect is what he calls “gender nonconformists” or “gender defiant,” comprised of a minuscule segment of society who want to identify with gender “based on their feelings at the moment.”

He added that these are not true transgenders, because they have no interest in going through the grueling process of hormones and surgery.

Heyer concluded that because laws like North Carolina’s doesn’t discriminate against the legitimate LGBT community, his directive issued on Friday to the schools was nothing more than a raw display of political power.

“One fact will remain, no matter how deep in the tank Obama goes for the gender nonconformists, genetics and God’s design of male and female, no matter how repugnant that is to some, cannot be changed,” he said. “Biological gender remains fixed no matter how many cross-gender hormones are taken or cosmetic surgeries are performed. No law can change the genetic and biblical truth of God’s design. Using financial blackmail to achieve the elimination of gender will become Obama’s ugly legacy.”
