The Calvin Klein company faced backlash over a recent advertisement featuring a young model in an upskirt photo.

Not a stranger to controversy over sexy ads in the past, the designer underwear brand angered many who felt they had simply gone too far with the photo captioned, “I flash in #mycalvins.”

The company was blasted for promoting “upskirting,” a term referring to taking photos under a girl’s dress without her consent, a crime that could lead to jail time and registration as a sex offender.

Social media users called out the company for its use of the young model, the choice of underwear and the angle of the camera shot, claiming it all appealed to pedophiles. Others saw no problem as the model, 22-year-old Danish actress Klara Kristin, is an adult and obviously consented to the photo being taken.
