Political criticism is one thing, but frustration may have gotten the better of conservative radio show host Dana Loesch during a fiery rant against CNN contributor Kayleigh McEnany.
Loesch might have gotten a little too personal when she mocked McEnany for being “flat-chested” in an epic rant that called into question her adversary’s qualifications as a political commentator — Loesch’s comment was in response to McEnany questioning the conservative bona fides of friend Ben Howe, a fervent member of the #NeverTrump movement.
“Who the hell is this chick?” Loesch said, as she spoke in support of Howe and other conservative activists who “have been out there on the front lines since 2008.”
“Baby cakes, this was more than just going on television and flashing your pearly whites and your flat chest, red dress, over-sprayed bleach blond hair while you sit and preach all this stuff about who is or isn’t a conservative?” she added in the epic rant.
Turns out, the choice to go after McEnany’s breast size may have been ill-advised, given that the Trump supporter has a genetic predisposition for breast cancer, according to the Daily Caller.
McEnany reportedly had eight aunts who had breast cancer and she started getting preventative mastectomies in her early twenties because she is BRCA 1 positive — which means she inherited a particular gene that increases her risk of developing certain types of cancer.
She also took an unconventional route, having implants put in, the Daily Caller reported. McEnany said she will have her breast tissue removed at a later date.
Upon learning of McEnany’s health issues, Loesch explained that her family also has a history with cancer and then took a page out of Trump’s book.
“Anyone who defends a candidate that has mocked a reporter’s disability, POWs, and blasted women as ‘bimbos’ with ‘blood coming out of their wherever’ surely has no problem with my addressing surrogates in a similar fashion,” she reportedly told The Mirror, according to the Daily Caller.
“I’m sorry for the struggles she had but perhaps being the ‘victim’ of my words can give her an insight into the kind of harm Trump’s words inflicts on others.”
