The perils of campaigning.

Carly Fiorina took a nasty tumble off of a stage Sunday at a campaign rally in Indiana.

After introducing Ted Cruz and his family, Fiorina turned to welcome them to the crowded stage and appeared to step off the front edge of the platform.

Heidi Cruz noticed Fiorina’s fall and can be seen reaching down to help her husband’s vice presidential se;ection as an unidentified man came to her assistance. The Texas senator, busy shaking hands, did not appear to see the incident.

His critics immediately attacked him for ignoring his running mate’s spill — it’s not clear if Fiorina suffered any injuries.

This is not the first time Fiorina has experienced troubles while on stage. As a presidential candidate, Fiorina was speaking at the National Association of Women Business Owners in San Antonio back in September when part of the stage collapsed around her.
