Liberals do not take kindly to those who draw attention to their never-ending hypocrisy.
Former “21 Jump Street” actress Holly Robinson Peete took offense to prolific social media commentator David Burge, a conservative blogger who tweets under @iowahawkblog for pointing out the hypocrisy of President Barack Obama’s daughter, Malia, deciding on Harvard University as her college of choice.
The president’s oldest daughter will take a year off — called a “gap year” — and begin attending classes in at the elite private institution in the fall of 2017.
Burge responded to the news by noting that the president’s “kids” have never attended public school and apparently never will, despite Obama’s steadfast support of public schools and teacher unions:
Kid who has never attended a public school will continue not attending a public schoolhttps://t.co/2ngcQuIqYz

The remark clearly touched a nerve with Peete, who responded by denigrating Burge for not having a life because… well, it’s always been sacrilege to dare criticize the Obama children:
@iowahawkblog @nytimes re this tweet. your life called. It misses you. Smh
— Holly Robinson Peete (@hollyrpeete) May 1, 2016
Peete clearly missed the part about Burge being a “prolific” social media commentator, and true to form he took advantage of the opportunity to further drive home his point:
.@hollyrpeete Once again, I am happy for her. I wish every kid in Chicago & DC had the same opportunity to escape their public schools.
— David Burge (@iowahawkblog) May 1, 2016
1/ Malia Obama seems to be a fine young woman and deserving of her acceptance at Harvard. I am happy for her success.
— David Burge (@iowahawkblog) May 1, 2016
2/ If I lived in DC I wouldn’t want to enroll my kids in the public schools, and I’d be a hypocrite to demand the Obamas do so.
— David Burge (@iowahawkblog) May 1, 2016
3/ That said, it might be seen as a wee bit hypocritical for America’s leading foe of school choice to use it for his own family.
