Update: Watch: Never-before-seen video prosecutor used to throw out Michelle Fields case
A new report reveals the potential reason behind a decision not to prosecute Donald Trump’s campaign manager for grabbing former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields in a press scrum.
The Trump organization reportedly gave the Palm Beach County Attorney’s Office secret video footage showing US Secret Service agents telling Fields she was in a secure area where she was not supposed to be, before she was grabbed by Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, according to a report by TMZ that has been confirmed by the state’s attorney’s office.
The Secret Service apparently directed Fields in the secret video to where the media was supposed to be. TMZ reported that Fields is seen in the video going to the media area, digging through her purse, and then right as the Secret Service agent turned his back, Fields ran back to the secure area she was told not to be in.
Additionally, the report reveals that the Trump campaign gave prosecutors a sworn affidavit from a Special Agent formerly with Attorney General Eric Holder’s security team.
The agent reviewed the video of Lewandowski grabbing Fields and concluded that the proper precautions were taken, as Fields was stepping into a secure area at the time.

Fields pressed charges against Lewandowksi after the two sides had an alleged phone and Twitter spat about the incident, where Fields posted photos of bruises.
BizPac Review reported last month how sources with the Secret Service said they told Fields twice to back away from Trump before she was pulled away by Lewandowski.
“She crossed in between agents and our protectee after being told not to,” the Secret Service agent source, who was present during the alleged squabble, said.
