A contested Republican National Convention would be a total disaster for everyone, according to Dr. Ben Carson.

The former GOP presidential candidate and Donald Trump supporter went “On the Record” and told Fox News host Greta Van Susteren what should be the billionaire businessman’s strategy from here on out.

“Obviously, to continue to do the things that have been working, but there’s going to have to be some adjustments made, in terms of focusing on not only gathering delegates, but also maintaining them” he said. “

He indicated that personnel have been added to the Trump campaign with this in mind.

Van Susteren asked about Republican convention rules that are fluid and subject to change.

“Is it worth losing everything to manipulate the will of the people?” Carson asked. “Or do you want to have rules that honor the will of the people?”
